Angled Bar Plugs feature an angled surface with chamfered edges on the end of a bar plug. This provides a comfortable platform to rest the fingers when in the aero position of a bike equipped with tribar extensions, not using bar end shifters. The resulting hand grip is less prone to slippage, reducing the need for tape, gloves or chalk.

Fully compliant with 2023 UCI regulations.

Simple, but effective. Durable and reliable.

Angled Bar Plugs are used for instances where aerobar extensions are used without bar end gear shifters in the ends of the extensions. Most commonly velodrome track cycling events such as Individual Pursuit, Team Pursuit and the 1 km 'kilo' Time Trial. However Angled Bar Plugs can also be used if satellite shifters are used on a TT/Triathlon extension set-up.

Angled Bar Plugs can work with different amounts of fingers above the angled surface. Once your preferred finger position is decided, you can be sure to exactly match the same hand position every time. This can be useful to ensure that you maintain your optimal position identified through aero testing and do not gradually slide up or down the extension poles.

Angled Bar Plugs have been developed and refined with Elite National Champion and World Championship medal winning athletes as a more compact alternative to our Aerobar Finger Grips. Angled Bar Plugs have been ridden to a Gold medal in the 2023 European Track Championships Women's Team Pursuit.

The internal bar plug utilises a rubber O-ring friction fitment, designed for universal fit. The standard type works on nearly every round tube 22.2 mm aero bar extension. Tested on Zipp, 3T, USE. There is also a larger size option to fit 24.0 mm external diameter (usually Deda) extensions.

Listing is for a pair of Angled Bar Plugs with O-rings installed.
